                    OUR JOB!

Hi!  I am Cat, Founder of Guardian Pet Watch, LLC.  As a former corporate employee where travel was a requirement of the job for many, I realized that most pet parents needed a helping hand with pet care and some favorable options to boarding/kenneling.   I am an advocate for local shelters and rescue organizations, and have personally rescued and re-homed several animals.   I am a certified instructor of Puppy Start Right Preschool, teaching new pet parents how to better understand and properly socialize their new babies.  Our mission at Guardian Pet Watch, LLC is to focus 100% on client needs and their residential pet care requirements - devoting ourselves to ensuring peace of mind for our clients by keeping their family pets safe & happy at home!

Dee Brister, 16 year graphic designer and mother of one crazy awesome kid, turned pet sitter. I’ve grownup caring for pets, it’s a love I’ve had for many years (far beyond my corporate career). Originally from rural Arkansas, my family has always had numerous pets. And as an only child it was my responsibility to understand our pets needs and take care of them all. That easily transitioned into my adult life, never being able to go without fur babies close by. My husband, son and I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I am excited to be able to use my love and knowledge of animals in a even more meaningful way, providing quality care for your furry family members.

I have many years of experience working with pets, wildlife and exotics. I grew up with several pets and always knew I wanted to work with animals. My degree in Veterinary Technology has given me the privilege to work with many species of animals in a variety of settings. I've had experience working in small animal medicine, wildlife research, horse boarding, pet sitting, and most recently the Memphis Zoo. I currently have a Labrador Retriever that loves to hike and 2 Siamese cats that keep me on my toes! I look forward to getting to know your pets and caring for them as if they were my own.

Pat worked with GPW prior to retiring and we are glad to have her back on a part time basis providing overnight care to our clients.  So glad to have her back on our team!
